雪舟ゆかりの井原市他 5 市が開催する「雪舟サミット」に於いて、
画聖雪舟を祖とする日本独自の水墨画の魅力と文化的価値を広く知っていただくため、
一般社団法人日本水墨画美術協会主催の
「日本水墨画美術協会展 2022」(公募展)応募作品の中から
入選作品の展覧会を開催します。
公募展応募作品の他、小学生、中学生、高校生による墨絵作品の展示により
墨絵のすそ野を広げ、新国立美術館で開催された「美は国境を越えて展」参加の
海外水墨画作家による一部作品も展示を行い国際交流にも努めます。
また、当協会が制作に全面協力をした、この秋10月21日に東宝より公開の
横浜流星さん主演の水墨画をテーマとした映画「線は、僕を描く」の
ポスターやメイキングピクチャーなどの展示も行います。
前回開催の山口市に続き、国の総合戦略の一つとして謳われている「地方創生」に寄与し
次回開催都市の井原市を中心に画聖雪舟にゆかりの 4 県 6 都市の文化・経済の活性化にも努めます。

【Nippon Suibokuga Art Association】
Sesshu was a brilliant painter who established a style of ink painting that is unique to Japan.
Five municipalities with ties to Sesshu cooperate to hold the “Sesshu Summit” once every two years.
We, the Nippon Suibokuga Art Association, organize the “Nippon Suibokuga Art Association Exhibition” every year to spread the beauty and cultural significance of ink painting.
This year’s “Nippon Suibokuga Art Association Exhibition 2022” will be held in Ibara City of the Okayama Prefecture.
This exhibition will feature outstanding ink paintings by high school, junior high, and elementary school students, as well as works by foreign artists from the "Beauty Beyond Borders" exhibition held at the New National Museum of Art in Tokyo since we are putting an emphasis on international exchange.
We will also be exhibiting posters and behind-the-scenes photos for the ink painting themed movie "Line draws me" starring Ryusei Yokohama, which will be released this fall by Toho.
